This compressed spherical vase can stand alone as a piece of sculpture that depicts the exuberance of hummingbirds feeding on delicate flowers. Or it can hold living flowers. It is 8 inches tall and 3 inches wide.
Because of its dimensions, it works beautifully as a centerpiece on an oval or rectangular table. Its slim depth also makes it ideal for adding a touch of colorful art to a narrow shelf.
A small 'foot' on the bottom of the sphere enhances its stability, without interfering with the circular motion inherent in its shape. The opening at the top is rippled and curved, to give added dimension to a floral arrangement if one is used. Its inner and outer surfaces are covered with a watertight, clear glaze.
