Purple Mini Vase

​​Mini vases are the smallest vases I create. They measure  about 3.5 inches tall and add a delightful accent to any room of the home. In order to make the open, dancing shape, I carve into the vase before the clay dries, and stretch out the sides. 

This purple glaze blends easily with other colors and adds a subtle frame around the little wildlife scene within, where where a solitary hummingbird feasts on a pink and blue flower. Fully watertight, the vase can hold a small living flower or remain empty and have the same whimsical impact.
